Open to all Messina students, the Cybersecurity: Policy & Data Privacy Certificate provides students with advanced knowledge in cyber threats and vulnerabilities, cybersecurity policy and law, incident response development and implementation, cyber risk management and resiliency, cloud security, and data privacy. Students who complete the certificate will gain advanced knowledge in cybersecurity and data privacy, which will prepare them for future studies in cybersecurity after Messina or a possible career in cybersecurity, a rapidly growing sector in the global labor market.
The Cybersecurity Certificate is offered through a partnership with the Boston College Law School. Its classes are taught by 91µÎµÎ Law faculty and industry experts who are thought leaders in cybersecurity and data policy, from organizations such as IBM Security, Microsoft, the U.S. Department of Justice, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, and many others.
- Requirements: Six online, asynchronous classes and two, one-hour in-person sessions held on the Brookline campus.
- Timeline: Asynchronous classes may be completed on your own time and at your own pace. One in-person session is held each semester.
- Cost: There is no additional cost for enrolled Messina students to complete this certificate.
